Can you tell us a little bit?

time off before polls are closing, but how you feeling going into this tonight?

Yeah, we're really excited.

I mean, I think, you know, race has been really exciting, obviously in the primary and the general under really feel like a noise a little while here in the Midwest, which cites what happens.

I'm sure this is a busy day for you.

What was that day like for Julian she spent the entire morning and early afternoon, going to polling locations talking voters, encouraging them to get out the vote.

We did some fund social media She's now getting ready right now to come to tenant, governor seeking to become just the 6th ever black woman to serve in the U.S.

Senate.

Only the second from Illinois.

What is that history means to a I mean, I think representation really matters.

And it's really exciting.

I think this race, especially across team, we always knew it was bigger any one of us.

It was about representing black voters in Chicago, in Illinois, on across the entire state.

And so we're really excited.

But, you know, it's not just about Illinois is also about the country and their representation.

She will bring, as you know, serving with 2 other black women in the Senate as If things do go your way tonight, if you are successful, what are going to be some of you had a sense first priorities when she in Yeah.

I mean, she has spent this entire is talking being a caretaker for her mother and health care.

I think it's going to be center to she does in the Senate.

And I think there's a lot of other things she hopes to specially hopefully with majorities in the House and Senate.
