But you know what?

I had a chance to see that painting.

And I got to tell you, there is something very real about that lady.

My father got this next song in a very interesting way.

A young man by the name of Billy Strayhorn gave this song to my dad.

And if you recognize the name, it's because Billy later went on to become one of Duke Ellington's finest arrangers.

But when Dad got this song, he put it on the piano and just kind of kept it there for a while, and... when he finally decided to pick it up, he was amazed at what he saw.

There was a very haunting melody there, and the lyrics were very, very sophisticated, especially when you consider the fact that at the time that Billy wrote this song, he was only 16 years old.

Kind of makes you wonder where his head was at.
