Aaron Lawlor was elected to the Lake County Board at age 26. By 30, he was the board’s youngest ever chairperson. But that career came to a crashing halt last year amid legal and personal problems, and a battle with alcohol and substance abuse. Now sober, Lawlor says he has given up politics but regained his life -- and he’s eager to tell his story.
