ON THE FIFTEENTH, MARS REACHES OPPOSITION (2).
MEANING MARS AND THE SUN ARE IN A LINE WITH EARTH IN THE MIDDLE.
THIS IS WHEN MARS SHINES THE BRIGHTEST!
FINALLY, JUST AFTER SUNSET ON THE NINETEENTH, VENUS AND SATURN MEET UP IN THE SOUTHWEST!
AS LONG AS WE’RE LOOKING, ADMIRE THE GREAT SQUARE OF PEGASUS WITH IT’S FOUR BRIGHT STARS, MARKAB, ALGENIB, ALPHARATZ AND SCHEAT!
EVEN THOUGH CONJUNCTIONS AREN’T ASTRONOMICALLY IMPORTANT, THEY’RE FUN TO LOOK AT AND GREAT WAYS TO SEE LOTS OF OBJECTS AT ONCE!
