Interviews with first responders and school staff members examine the events leading up to the accident while stories from friends and family members pay tribute to their lost loved ones. 1-23-03 is a film about tragedy and loss, but also about hope in the face of overwhelming odds and how a firm faith in God and a communal support system allowed people to prevail through a devastating loss.
